Visco-elastic film is laminated to deep-drawing metal of the desired thickness to form Avdec™ sound damped material. The unique multi-layer construction process ensures a reliable bond between the elastomer film and the metal outer layers. Prior to lamination, both metal sheets are coated on the inner sides with a special adhesive that actually fuses

with the middle film layer. The result is a solid bond and good forming characteristics. Avdec™ laminates will not peel or separate during most manufacturing processes.
